Jiabin Lin

Education Background

My name is Jiabin Lin, a first year master's student major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and focus on embedded systems at the University of Colorado Boulder. I graduated with a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in May 2020 and during 2018 fall semester, I studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh. 

My Career Interests

Every since I was a kid, I always like to take electronic apart and figure out how they work. So I decided to major in electrical and computer engineering in my freshmen semester. I studied and practiced fundamental skills in firmware and hardware development during college. I have worked as an undergraduate research assistant in CU Boulder Aerospace department helping to improve astronaut suits in the past year. I enjoyed making embedded systems device to help/impact people's life. I am currently looking for a summer 2021 intern that is related in either or both hardware and firmware Engineering

Hobbies and Societies

Apart from the major, I am also involved in different clubs and societies such as the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, CU Boulder/Edinburgh University Swing Dance Society, Boulder Freeride, and Mountaineering club. I am a big fan of outdoor and ballroom dance. I also practice rock climbing, swimming, basketball, and badminton in my free time.
